August 2007 - The Friendly French Invasion

We were happy to be descended upon in August by our lovely family from France. Deirdre very much enjoyed playing with her cousins, Mark and Sarah, especially when they played her favorite game "chase the baby". The highlights of the visit were a cookout we had one Saturday, a family dinner out on the deck, and a trip to the Aquarium.

Vogue Deirdre 18 months August 2007

This child knows she is a girl. Put her in a cute dress and she will grab her own accessories and is ready for the cat walk.

I don't know how it is done in Paris, and NYC, but this model has time to grab a quick snack before getting back to work. Wait, I don't think models snack...


Striking a pose makes one tired. Deirdre has found a good place to sit and rest.

New Beginnings New House - March 2007

We only had to look once to know this was the house for us. With lots of land to expand on if necessary, and 5 bedrooms all upstairs, separate dining room, big kitchen, and a family room and living room, this was the one. Lord willing we hope to be here when our kids have children of their own.

In Memory of Mom - February 15, 2007

Deirdre lost her beloved Nana today, and I lost my Mama. Deirdre was the light of her life. We miss you dearly and we love you. My children will know who you were and what you did for your family.

Our baby girl took her first unassisted steps the night of her Birthday Party. We maded a video of this and sent it around to friends and family. She was very proud of herself and seemed to know she was doing something special.
